It’s Minesweeper. Minesweeper to a T. Press A to left-click, press B to right-click. About the only improvement that could be made is the double-click to clear all the tiles.<\/p>\n

Again, Minesweeper to a T. My Game Boy Advance has turned into Windows XP for a few minutes.<\/p>\n

Like, flawlessly, but it’s still minesweeper.<\/p>\n

It’s minesweeper. About flawlessly. With good music.
\nI wish there was some animation and click noises but I’ve played plenty of minesweepers that lack these.<\/p>\n

Story: 3\/5<\/h4>\n

… It’s an excuse plot that has the beginnings of FE8 laid into it. It’s adorable.<\/p>\n

But also not really…present. I laughed pretty hard.<\/p>\n

\nmade me worry the game was broken.<\/p>\n

the story made me laugh i’m wheezing.<\/p>\n

so; I play minesweeper. *All the time*. I don’t play like five maps a day, but I’ve definitely played a few thousand boards. It is not a very interesting game at that point.<\/p>\n

And i feel bad about this. it’s lovingly made and just about perfect, but it’s minesweeper and minesweeper is just a game that intrinsically sucks: it’s either “follow exact formula” or “you can randomly lose by doing the right thing” and i already play minesweeper most days because it only takes 2-3 minutes for me to play a board which scratches that `satisfied with having done a thing` urge despite not taking that long. the perfect thing to do when, say, waiting for your food to heat up, the oven to pre-heat, or while someone’s in the bathroom; but _is it a fun and good game_ is…<\/p>\n

well it’s certainly more strategic than some hacks i’ve played before.<\/p>\n

The ever classic minesweeper trouble is “your first press is a bomb”, which I submit never happened in this entry (i did restart many new boards to see if it would).<\/p>\n

Judge 4: theghostcreator<\/h3>\n

Gameplay: 8\/10<\/h4>\n

It\u2019s minesweeper, and I like minesweeper. Two points deducted for seemingly having the same board every time which makes it very easy.
\n<\/p>\n

Presentation: 4\/5<\/h4>\n

Absolutely nailed the minesweeper look, the music was great, and the custom title and nintendo graphics were cool. One point deducted for only using vanilla portraits.<\/p>\n

Story: 3\/5<\/h4>\n

It was pretty fun and goofy but it obviously recycled from vanilla\u2019s prologue story.<\/p>\n
